[Kde-pim] KMail Needs Some Love (before 4.4)

When switching messages, KMail starts a ContactSearchJob, which uses 
Akonadi+Nepomuk to search for the contact that matches the sender address.
I think this could well be the delays.
So the question is: Why does Akonadi/Nepomuk stall sometimes and how can it be 
fixed?
