This is my understanding of the situation.

UserBase combines an easy way for writing documentation if you are not docbook 
experienced.  If you prefer to write in docbook, that's fine.  When we 
implement the Translation extension two-way exchange of documentation should 
be fine.  The result will be an html version in userbase and docbook providing 
help-center stuff for on-line and CD/DVD inclusion.

I don't see any reason for anyone to change their preferred way of working.  
The important thing is to get the documentation written, by whatever means you 
prefer.  You should, of course, make sure that your project is using basically 
one means, not a mix that would cause duplication of effort, but that's all.
