[Kde-pim] GSoC on Akonadi

Hi kde-pim developers!

I'm a Ph.D student in Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. I'm a Debian and KDE 
user from some years ago. I've been researching in Social Software for two 
years and developing in Rails social web applications. I'm interested in 
accessing to them from the Desktop.

I've seen the work of Akonadi and I think it's a very good idea. I've been 
experimenting with AtomPub protocol (RFC 5023), but Akonadi hasn't support 
for it, AFAIK. It only has support for reading feeds, but not for publishing.

My proposal was implementing AtomPub in Akonadi, in the Google Summer of Code. 
Besides, Google API is based in AtomPub. However, the deadline is aproaching 
and I'm not sure I'll have time for presenting the proposal.

Nevertheless, what do you think about it? Cheers!
