No idea ;-) And linklocator is not really maintained ( I think I'm the closest one), so if no-one else gives a reason/svn log does not mention it I'm happy to apply it.

So someone hacks your server, places a .run somewhere and sends a message with a link to that in the name of someone of the director. Bingo. But I don't think that's anymore a problem then other stuff you receive via email anyhow.

It moved to kdepimlibs , you can find it in kpimutils.
