OK. Obviously KDE4 is priority and I'm happy to just work on that, then worry 
about 3.5 later assuming it's even feasible.

I don't want to rewrite the current kblog gdata support, in fact the opposite. 
It seems the fundamentals of the protocol are there so it would be good to 
grow it out into as full an implementation of gdata as useful. 

@Stijn, I've read your proposal and it sounds like your direction is the same 
as mine. I'll contact you offlist and we can exchange some thoughts about how 
we want to proceed.
