This will probably be a Google Summer of Code project for the openchange
project (http://www.openchange.org).

It can currently show content for Contacts (i.e. the address book). I have
part of mail working. I am doing some more work on the library to make sure
it is mature enough for the SoC project (assuming it gets picked up) and for
other users.

There are screeshots of the Contact list working, and also of mail. Those are
client side akonadi talking to a standard (no changes at all) Microsoft
Exchange server using native MAPI calls (really Exchange RPC at the wire, but
same concept).

Let me know if you have any questions on this.

Brad
