John,

Agree we should wait for 4.1.

It would be great if you could take over the task of moving
KDateEdit, KDatePickerPopup and KTimeEdit into kdelibs
for KDE 4.1.  Or replacing them with something even better :)

KMyMoney2 also has a date entry widget that seems pretty cool.
