That ID is used to identify the user on your side, so the user might want to
use the same ID on multiple machines, right (to receive personal suggestions
on all machines)? Then it should be configurable by the user I guess, with
the generated id as default?

JavaScript is currently disabled in the preview pane, for security reasons (as
requested by the KDE security team). But this could probably also be done via
an API call sent from some standard widget?

Thanks for your input!
Just to make it clear, I don't see anyone in our team implementing this too
soon. Not because I wouldn't like it, but because feature development in
Akregator is basically only me, with nearly no time for the project and a
bunch of higher priority-items on the TODO list.
I accept patches though ;) (preferably with a generic rating interface and a
separate Outbrain implementation)
