After playing around for 2 days - even upgrading to (unstable) Kubuntu 
Feisty. And still seeing DBUS crashing korganizer and kmail (but not knode) 
on startup, I gave up.
Maybe I'll try to help again in a few weeks/months - maybe...

P.S.: It crashed somewhere in QtDBUS 
calling "dbus_connection_send_with_reply_and_block(...)"
