I managed to get the whole thing working for maildir accounts (which
was the one I was working with on my test environment). It seems to
work pretty well with a few modifications. However, when trying to
test it with an imap account, I realized that apparently the messages
are not completely parsed.

More precisely, the X-KMail-{Signature,Encryption}-State headers (at
least those two) are not read as with maildir accounts. I'm trying now
to see why it is so. From the search I've done, imap mails seem to be
parsed using the KMessage::fromString method (btw, the bool parameter
is never used, therefore always default to FALSE ; setting it to TRUE,
which would force setting the status of the message, along with the
signature and encryption state, didn't solve my problem, therefore
something's wrong with the parsing itself).

If someone can
point me to the right files/methods for the parsing of imap-related
mails, so that it accelerates my search when I resume tomorrow, I
would be greatful. The only thing I have for now is that it is somehow
related to the DwMessage structure which apparently is defined outside
kmail sources, mimelib I think it is...

Anyway, any hints are welcomed,
Alexis
