As I said in my initial e-mail, this patch fixes bug 122870 already, so 
that one can be scratched after confirmation.

I'll have a look at the other one in a few days. However, either I am an 
absolute noob regarding building the kde-pim source tree or something 
was really broken in the previous releases. I tried the debian source 
packages and the kdepim source distribution (3.5.7), but it always 
exited somewhere on missing/altered symbols. Are there specific 
requirements on the installed kde or the dev headers? Last time I 
'solved' this issue by only executing ./configure in the root tree and 
executing make in kioslaves/sieve. Then I copied the resulting library 
over the installed versions on my system... not a very nice way to build 
stuff. If you could provide me with some howto info, it would very much 
appreciated.
