I've tried reinstalling the PerlQt-3.008 and pqt-designer-Qt-3.2.x source packages from sourceforge without any CVS updates, and designer no longer crashes, so it looks like a problem with whatever's been added to CVS. -- Dan Urist durist at frii.com
