Very well, try it (though I'm pretty sure I've upgraded when log'ed
out of X) and indeed the slowdown is gone now.
(not so) Btw. what has my home dir got to do with this? And why doesn't
an invalidated cache get re-created again, or does that invalidates it
self again?
