[Kde-nonlinux] Opening Kwrite attachments

Today I was sent three attachments from the same sender to my Yahoo mail address.  One was a word file which opened no problem, the other two for some reason came through as Kwrite attachments and so far I haven't worked out how to open these.  I hope someone out  there can come up with a nice simple solution so I can read these attached mails.
