Actually, they do like to see it run on more platforms.  The
problem is, each person can only do so much work and most just
stick with what they know, Linux, and see little point in
themselves using <something else>.

I use FreeBSD but I can't help you because I don't see your
problem and I don't have any OpenBSD boxes.  Similar logic is
likely what other subscribers use.  No offense is intended.

What I would suggest is that you try and find other people
interested in pushing KDE on OpenBSD, and form your own group.
That's exactly what I did 3-4 years ago for FreeBSD.  Several of
us remain subscribed to this list in case someone posts a FreeBSD
question here instead of at our site.

If you can't find anybody, then maybe you should try working on
KDE with a different OS, at least until you have a strong enough
grasp of the tools KDE uses.
