I assume you mean FreeBSD.  In the future, try sending mail to
the kde at freebsd.org list.

You never said how you installed KDE.

ksysguard is known not to work perfectly on FreeBSD.  But if you
are not using the port, there are some bugs in 3.1.4 that have
been fixed.  They have also been fixed for 3.2.
