Thanks for reporting back on your progress.

As long as there have been projects undertaken by people, there has been 
delays caused by unexpected issues, so don't fret. For example, I had meant to 
reply to your status report back on Monday. :)

Helping to popularize JuK (and KDE Multimedia and KDE in general) is certainly 
worthy of mentioning as a positive achievement. Fixing bugs is nice, and 
certainly appreciated by the users, but the type of thing we *really* need is 
additional developers in KDE Multimedia, so your efforts towards outreach here 
may end up being larger than it sounds today, if it results in even one or two 
additional KDE developers!

Of course your more direct contributions have not gone unnoticed either, and 
as of today you have your first commit in the KDE source repositories. :)

Please let me know if you're interested in signing up for a developer account 
so that you can make future commits on your own.
