How to set master volume channel in kmix?

Hi, people

Is there a way to set which of the available channels will be the 
master volume channel in kmix (the one which is shown when you 
single-click kmix in the task bar)?
kmix "thinks" the pc-speaker channel is my master volume channel and 
shows it when I click kmix, which is absolutelly useless. I have to 
open the mixer everytime I want to change the volume. How to fix 
this?
