One of the reasons I posted here was to get some attention of KDE developers 
for the ongoing discussion about that topic on the XDG list.
They are mostly speculating about implementation details, while KDE has a 
widely deployed message bus and real world experience on remote controlling 
application and application cooperation.

I already posted the API doc linsk for KIMIface and KIMProxy to the respective 
thread but IMHO some input from the developer who actually implemented it. 
Would be wise in order to get their knowledge into the specification, to make 
sure we don't have to rework a lot afterwards instead of having the 
specification mirror our current implementatio plus improvements.
