kdemm and make_it_cool: Howto ?

Hi Christian,

it's a little bit scattered in the CVS repositories. But this is what you
need:
cd kdelibs
cvs up -r make_it_cool kdemm
cd kdemultimedia
cvs up -r make_it_cool kdemmbackends

this is to make KDE use kdemm:
cd kdelibs/arts/knotify
cvs up -f -r make_it_cool
cd kdebase/libkonq
cvs up -f -r make_it_cool
cd kdemultimedia/juk
cvs up -f -r make_it_cool

And yes, the Channel stuff is supposed to be accessible from the mixer. But
this is probably not worth working with at the moment. Especially the Channel
interface will very likely change in the not too distant future.

In the next weeks (hopefully: days) I will start with documenting the design
process for kdemm in a course I take at university. This is not meant to be
the design document for what we have in CVS, but for what we want to have as
multimedia API for KDE 4. So the current kdemm code is nothing but a
prototype for me at this point. We'll see if the software engineering process
can help me/us getting a better API... at least it'll be a lot better
documented :-)
