The only reason that the GStreamer release cycle is currently similar to
the GNOME one is because GNOME is our main user base. Once KDE adopts us,
we'll try to find the best mix between the two, and maintain and
continuous release cycle that should suit both.

We *are* very much interested in cooperating with KDE.
