How do I get Kamera to work with my Nikon Coolpix 5000, in KDE 3.2.3

Did that :/ .. when I push the test button it says "Unable to initialize 
camera. Check your port settings and camera connectivity and try again. 
Details: Bad parameter" Same for Configure and Information.
