Which class to use?

Hi!

I'm trying to write up a very simplistic application to facilitate audio 
(speech) transcription. For that purpose, I'm looking for a playobject 
suitable for the following:

- loading _large_ audio-files (20+ minute-recordings at high quality)
- preferrably, supporting several file-formats
- seek, pause, resume
- adjusting playback-speed
- preferrably, adjusting pitch (independent of speed)

Could you please point me in the right direction (which classes to look at)?
