Thats right, I have 1024x768 on my laptop and 1280x1024 on the 19" right of 
it. The screenshots look funny and I had to create a special 
background-picture to have my favourite picture on both screens in the same 
size...

This should go to kde@ or kde-devel@, or (better) to XFree or a 
newsgroup/mailinglist generally dealing with linux.
