Well, arts is a separate package on gentoo ever since it moved to its own cvs 
module and has separate tarballs. If someone wants to he can install arts 
without anything else that has to do with kde and use it as-is.

Anyway, I agree, I'll use 3.0.6 etc as the version numbers. Thanks,
