I had this once on one of my desktop machines, IIRC it was related to 
wrong/missing PAM setup for authentication. Don't remember the details though 
unfortunately :-(

IIRC it's deprecated, we had to adjust FindNepomuk.cmake to no longer use it 
for the same reason.
