Subsequently, I noticed that the Android KDE Connect app did not have Bluetooth
pairing turned on by default.
This is "Version 1.32.5 - Play Store" installed today.
I enabled Bluetooth in KDE Connect (Android) and then Bluetooth paired and
connected the phone and the (Mac) computer, and repeated the process of
attempting to pair. On the computer I did Options > Accept, but the KDE Connect
pairing request still timed out.
The KDE Connect icon on the Mac is still not there, but I will try all of this
again after another reboot.
