  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
There are multiple symptoms, but I have to describe them all here, as together
or individually the app fails to allow a connection.

With a first-time installation on macOS Monterey (12.7.6) of KDE Connect
v.25.3.70, after installing, and overriding the macOS Security message in order
to launch `kdeconnect-indicator.app` attempting to connect from the Android
app brings up a notification, but choosing Accept has no effect, and shows as
rejected on the phone.

I had to reboot the computer to get the KDE Connect indicator (icon) to appear
at the top of the screen, but when selecting Settings, which strangely appeared
together TWICE, the indicator or icon just disappears and will not reappear
even when relaunching the KDE Connect indicator app.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download the latest (Intel) macOS DMG version from
https://kdeconnect.kde.org/download.html -->
https://cdn.kde.org/ci-builds/network/kdeconnect-kde/master/macos-x86_64/
2. Open the DMG and copy the app to the Applications folder
3. On attempting to launch, macOS will prevent it and tell you that macOS
cannot be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. A second
launch attempt stops it again, but allows deliberately launching the app with
an OK button.
4. On seeing the applications icon at the top of the screen, click on it, and
see "Settings" there twice! Click and the app disappears!
5. If step four is not done, but attempt to connect from the Android KDE
Connect app, by clicking "Request Pairing" , as the Mac computer indeed is
discovered and listed, the request appears in the Mac's Notifications area.
6. Click Options and Accept in the macOS KDE Connect notification, but the
request times out on the Android phone. This occurs whether or not the KDE
Connect icon is visible on the Mac.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens, and the Android phone times out the request.

EXPECTED RESULT
The phone's connection should have been approved.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
