The cause is not the long folder name, but an AVIF file (1199.avif). Since the
problem was also reported by a user in the Pixls.us forum, there seems to be a
problem with AVIF files on macOS. Can you provide the file.

One more thing: you have activated monitoring for external changes in the
collection settings. Do you really need digiKam to recognize changes to files
at runtime that occur externally? You should not activate the option on macOS
for speed reasons.
