actually the last change on that page is by myself and it never got me anywhere close to a working setup that
at all could start "Kate". Is there no other guide that at least leads to some "working" endresult for KF5 stuff?

The only thing that ever worked for me, was the homebrew of Harry, but that has the 
bad sideeffect to be not really that usable as devel setup.
