when I saw your initial post I was struck by the thought that you might mean exactly THAT file...

	Why?

Because in November I had posted to K-F-D [1] about it, but didn’t get conclusive response at the time.

Since then I cannot build phonon here on OSX (although it seemed to succeed at least once back then).

Great that you figured it out!!!

What can be done about this now? Did/will you contact upstream?
