[KDE/Mac] Backport some CoreFoundation code from KDE 14.4 for upcoming KDE 14.3.3 release on MacPorts

Hi Nicolas,

only now I realise that there was a dedicated thread called “non-gui apps” for this topic.

So the patch in question is to be found in [1].

Thus, I will pick that up and try to incorporate that into branch ‘KDE4.13’ later.
