Of course the macports community is a big and very productive community. 
Theses guys are really aware of the specialities of mac os. But macports has 
several disadvantages on developer, distributor and user perspective. I would 
have written a comparision for mac os package management systems for a long 
time. Don't let us decide the the package manager yet. We need use cases 
first and a clear vision of want we to estabish with our new build server.
