Macports and Fink don't merge their patches upstream and have most of
the KDE on Mac users. As a result, KDE doesn't really work from the
repositories on Mac.
It's not that hard to set the environment variables up yourself to
compile correctly but it is hard to try and convince people to
upstream patches.
