I don't have a Note, but with my Galaxy SII I use USB, and transfer
files in Dolphin.  The USB utility on the phone gives me an IP that I
must enter in a browser.  When I do that it signals a request to
connect to the phone, and I have to accept that on the phone.  After
that, it's just another storage medium.  HTH
