Can't do it. What you need is to change a yes to a no (or 1 to 0, or on to
off, or similar) in a file somewhere in ~/.kde4, if you or someone else can
figure out where.

Or you can do what I already suggested, disable composite globally as I wrote

Another option is in your Grub menu, the failsafe option, which uses
nomodeset, which in turn will result in use of a generic video driver. That
will be slow if it works at all, and it probably will work. You'll probably
prefer the global disable option due to the radical slowdown compared to the
NVidia's hardware driver.

It's also possible that there is a proprietary driver you can install. That
would be covered among the SDB URLs previously provided.
