Have you tried simply renaming the 4.6.2 ebuild back to 4.6.1 or 4.6.0, 
and trying to build and merge that?  The way the ebuilds work, that should 
get you the older sources, altho 4.6.2 added the attica USE flag it 
appears, but that might work with the older ones as well, if it just took 
them that long to figure it out.

Alternatively, I could send you the ebuild, grabbed off my binary, or for 
that matter, the entire binary (64-bit, compiled with gcc 4.5.2), tho 
whether you'd like my CFLAGS or USE flags is of course another question, 
even if you're on amd64 (IDR).
