[kde-linux] Break an image into 2 equally sized pieces?

Hi,
   Is there a KDE app that can cut a large wallpaper image (3840 x
1080) into two equally sized 1920x1080 pieces?

   If not within KDE please suggest any other Open Source app that can
do this without me getting a PhD to do so.
