I ran into this a while back. I found a config file with phonon in the
name and deleted it. After that, it has worked fine. I think something
was changed in the program and it couldn't read the config file
correctly. Since the config file is in the user directory, it couldn't
update it. When I deleted it, it just recreated a proper config file
and went back to working again.
If you need me to, I can go see if I can figure out which file it was.
It's in the .kde directory tho. I do remember that much.
