1) Is the KDE-Aboutdialog (Systemsettings -> Help -> About-KDE) somehow
callabe via kcmshell or qdbus?

2) What is the prefered default path for placing
ksm-windowmanager .desktop files?

$datadir/apps/ksmserver/windowmanagers/

or 

$datadir/kde4/apps/ksmserver/windowmanagers/
