I have a Canon inkjet photo printer and an HP LJ4012 laser. They're our 
2nd inkjet and 3rd laser. Printing photos here at home is much more 
convenient, faster and cheaper than printing via Kinkos or other such 
places. And lasers are still champs when it comes to volume printing 
(like book manuscripts).

The nice thing about even cheap lasers is cartridges can sit there for 
years. You might not ever even need to buy another cartridge.

Perhaps we print more than you do. ;-)
