hm,
the headers of your message contain:

User-Agent: KMail/1.11.2 (Linux/2.6.28-11-generic; KDE/4.2.2; i686

- so to _are_ effectively using kmail, aren't you ?

but anyways, you can always install evolution and try that:

sudo apt-get install evolution

in a konsole session will do that.
