I make it because many people seem unaware that most developers don't see user 
lists, and bug reports are definitely the best way of making them aware of 
problems or lacks.

I've seen one example recently of a developer saying that he didn't know that 
people found a specific KDE3 feature so useful, so  hadn't considered it.  He 
said he would start work on providing it.  For all people moan, they really do 
listen if you go about it the right way :-)
