OK, this may work for a printer if you have CUPS installed, but the
physical printer defaults aren't the correct default for printing to a PDF.

First, do you use A4 and Metric?
Three bugs have been filed on the paper size issue. Please try it and
see if it works. Change the "Paper format" in:
System Settings -> Region & Language : Country Region & Language : Other
and see if it is changed for printing to a PDF.

Where is that Save button in the Print dialog? It is there in KDE-3.5.x
but I don't see it in KDE-4.2.
