Imho, dolphin has some wrong defaults. 2 defaults should be

x Use one global setting (not per directory)
x Show preview

Especially the first is really not newbie-friendly: only people who use file 
managers extensively would want this on, in my humble opinion. 

Other than that, dolphin is fine. Nitpicks:  I cannot bring myself to like the 
folder picture/icon. It is just not up to the standard from the rest of 
oxygen. Getting used to the selection mode takes a bit of practice, but I find 
it is an improvement.
