[kde-linux] running kde4 as non-root

Hi
I have compiled kde 4.2.2 from source and it works, but only , when I 
run  the  startx as root

 > cat ~/.xinitrc
exec startkde

As non-root , I get a lot of splash screens "Run as root - KDE su <8>" 
asking me for the root password:
/usr/bin/emacs-snapshot-gtk -- 
smid="106....................................' --no-splash

and :

nepomukservicestub -session 106.............................

I click "ignore" many times and then I get a black screen with only the 
mouse pointer.

Any ideas ?
