[kde-linux] removing the stock ~home folders

I am using 3.5.10 - I don't see anything in the Control Center for this 
feature. I did see how to edit my ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs though, from 

    http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/xdg-user-dirs

Do I have to do more for KDE 3.5.10?
