[kde-linux] KDE re-creates a clean desktop every boot

Hello all,

I know this issue may be Xandros specific, but I imagine Xandros just used 
some settings I don't understand:

On my eeepc 900, I enabled "full desktop" and it works well apart from one 
strange thing: at every boot or reboot, I get a new, "clean" desktop. In 
clear text, the ~/.kde/Desktop directory is created new, and the previous 
directory is renamed .Desktop

I have cured the problem partly by copying my links 
to /usr/share/apps/kdesktop/DesktopLinks, but I would like to know if, and 
how, I can modify this behaviour.
