[kde-linux] k3b won't burn right

I have a laptop and have noticed that the KDE info center reports for cdrom 
(really the DVD/CD writer) "can close tray" is "yes", obviously wrong. I'm a 
long time Linux with KDE user, but I can't find the file where this 
information is stored. I'd like to change it. It might solve some of the k3b 
problems I've had with verifying. Any clues?
