64 MB ram is definitely not for anything like KDE ;-)
I recommend a lightweight distro for that kind of pc's, e.g. damnsmalllinux -
http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/
it comes with sylpheed, firefox (gtk1 version) and runs reasonably well even
with that specs.
